Who We Are

Banta Boys wasn’t a name that came out of some branding meeting or marketing brainstorm—it is just who we are.

Born and raised off Banta Road in Indiana, the name had been part of their identity long before it ever ended up on a website. It was where scraped knees happened, where long summer evenings stretched out past the moonlight.

What started as small, practical skills slowly turned into something more creative. A simple piece of wood became a personalized gift. A leftover scrap turned into something worth keeping. And somewhere along the line, they realized they didn’t just like building things—they liked making things that meant something to people.

The laser engraver came. At first, it was just curiosity—another tool to learn, another challenge to figure out. But it didn’t take long before it clicked. The same attention to detail, the same pride in craftsmanship—it all carried over. Only now, they could turn ideas into something permanent. Names, dates, logos, memories—etched into wood, leather, acrylic, slate… pieces that people would actually hold onto.

That’s when Banta Boys became more than just a name tied to a road. It became a business.

But it never lost what made it real in the first place.

It’s still a father and son, working side by side. Still built on patience, trial and error, and doing things the right way even when it takes longer. Still rooted in the same place where it all started.

Every order that goes out carries a little bit of that story with it—of where they came from, what they’ve built together, and why it matters.

Because for the Banta Boys, it’s never just been about engraving.

It’s about making something worth keeping.
